Slaap_Hop_annual_festival_2015 took by storm at lekgweng ground. this initiation aiming at improving the quality standards of education and enforces great attitude towards behaviour and self improvement has restored a historic move that embraces and recalls the image of our community, performers shown the community a night of wonders. Parents came in numbers to watch their children performs and it was clear that indeed some where not even aware of the talent that their children posses.

The event started around 9 0clock after a controversial delay caused by technical issues, even the dj started having challenges because of this delay. But the broadway liddingz members kept their composure. Broadway liddingz is the organiser of this event. This members extended their security measures by involving Eldorado police services and the event went all well.

The line up was absolutely crazy, but many people will never forget the speech that was given by cleopathra Leshiba, she spoke about self believe and ambition, when she walked down the stage, you could see people drawn into the devour sense of aspiration. That moment took a gesture and proposed to a calm and dedicated crowd.

Dk Namik opened the show with fire, wuster megga blowing fires at the back while Dk went raw on each bar he drop. The rocket and the fire build up a chemistry that people where not ready to ignore. It was clear that slaaphop was made to form an adventurous night.

Who can forget the Mc, Makgato Machaba with a signature of juice, the crowd loved every moment with him, when he went "slaaphop juice are we juice"?, everbody in the crowd reacted and responded "juice".

The sensational magnitude of power struck when the Mc introduces the judges for lip syncing battle. Boitumelo Mahladisa, Thapelo Harvey Ranzimo and Treasure Trey Setjie. All this judges where looking stunning and marvelous. After the lyp sync battle performance, Mokgadi Joey Kito Machaba killed erykah Badu's song, but Sowela Manyediwana was right on the edge of greener pastures. She came with Emtees song and murdered it, when Matlaba Aurinator Aubrey came to storm with Quali's song bye bye, he could not out shun this girl, not even sheba could do with cassper's song, the winner of lip sync battle at slaaphop festival was sowela Manyediwana.

When the stage got threats of death, T roy came and perform "outta my mind" this guy jumps as if he is high on something. He created the energy and flames. Everybody where on their feet when he was out of his mind. But can that reach out to a level of power within the group called FOF? This is a group from gedion made of the known star Leggo. As soon as they step on stage, the crowd started screaming "leggo".

It was clear that people enjoy being at slaaphop, they reacted to hip hop music quite fine. This event will come back yearly and will continue to aspire and inspire people. We love all of you. Slaaphoek and all surrounding areas. We are a team.

Teboho mankga was the dj of the night, he drove the show with passion. Who can forget the most beautiful co host of slaaphop festival miss Donna Maela, she was elegance and amazing, when Rachel step on stage, everybody couldn't believe that was her real voice. Talent is indeed galore. L gee, lulu Mokgalusi came and set a mark for female power. She was absolutely sexy and raw. She performed a song called yellow bone produced and featured by Quali.

it is not as frightening as the communities we are based in shows it to be when coming to raising kids and be the best. It is a duty of passion and love, a courageous journey of guide in moulding someone to become even better in life. Remember, you cannot be a good father if you are not true to yourself. You need to be sensitive when coming to your family. A lot of good father start off by committing themselves fully into their homes. They dedicate time and put much effort into their childrens life.

You must be a role model to your kids, they must love you and miss you when you are gone. But oftentimes in life we forget that education is vital and imperative to all aspects of life. The keys in raising children is very advance and thus makes this process long to understand. If you have problems understanding your children, you cannot raise good children. If you are without respect and love over your family then you need help. Children resembles the way they where raised at a later stage in life. You will hear a man complaining that he is having problems with his children's behaviour but he fail to discipline himself first. You cannot fight your wife infront of them it will only damage this children.

As a father, have you ever struggled to choose sides between your mom and your father? Did you feel how painful and confusing it is? I plead with all south african men. I plead with a broken heart to make you understand the broken life you put upon your kids by letting them meddle in your battles. Do not be abusive as a man. Not at once. Make your wife listen to you because you will need to become a team and agree on a same thing. Explain your problems to them and share what you can maintain or afford and what you cannot.

Teach them respect and discipline. Make your children be very afraid to disappoint you. If you hate smoking, they should hate cigarette. If you hate beer, they shouldn't even want to see the bottle. Be a celebrity in your house. When you knock and your wife opens, the first thing to do should be a smile. Then I can assure you. You will have a well raised children. With a good behaviour. You often ask yourself questions and lose the strength to continue fighting while you are striving to get the answers. Let me be honest. If you want to break through, forget about money I now know that you do not have any. Builds a confidence to excel and be believable in what you do.
However, before we can even start talking about making it happen, did you really think through of what you decided to pursue, is that really your ability? Put yourself to the test, ask yourself this question, if you believe you can sing or maybe be an entrepreneur, why do you think you can be successful? Do you have what it takes to be one; did you check your consistency and the competition around you? You should be amazing and very unique to think of pursuing something that might take all your time and energy. You cannot afford to put efforts on a wrong choice.

ANC FIRED BLOUBERG MUNICIPAL MAYOR SEKGOLOANE SERITE

The flamboyant mayor alongside the troublesome Tlhalifi Mashamaite of Mokgalakwena where ordered to pack their stuff and leave the mayoral offices. Justifying the reappointment at the time, Seabi said:

“When there are challenges, we always look up to the leader. As the ANC, we believe in engaging but we no longer have time.”

DA provincial leader Jacques Smalle said the ANC was tacitly acknowledging that Mashamaite was unfit to be mayor.

But Seabi hit back, saying the DA was being opportunistic. “We are just doing our jobs. That municipality is governed by the ANC,” said Seabi.

Smalle said Mashamaite should repay the money he allegedly misused.

Mashamaite has denied wrongdoing. He hogged media headlines last year as he had 27 bodyguards.

Seabi said the Department of Co-operative Governance was best suited to deal with the recommendations of the forensic report.

Departmental spokesman Motupa Selomo said: “We are doing a comprehensive investigation into the activities in that municipality. We take cognisance of the KPMG report and the auditor-general’s findings.”

Seabi said the two mayors would be replaced in the next two weeks.

Last year, the ANC fired four mayors who were believed to be former allies of EFF leader Julius Malema.

If you have never been to a black person's funeral then you do not know what's fun is. They will intrigue you with their way of burying. Black people have a unique procedure in burying, although they are not mainly apparent, but they will intensify you with how they make everything click.

After the relatives are informed, the process starts off, you will see people in your community gathering in the home of the deceased. They will start buying chickens and prepare fires, when i talk about fires dont count with your one hands, they make fires accros the yard. Some boils water and some start cooking and baking. In the meantime, the other group gathers outside under a tree and start taking the contribution of money from community members, this is a small money, just to help with the proceeding until the weekend. It starts off from as little as 2 rands to 5 rands.

Dont forget, white people do not even gather until is burial day. Family members of white deceased can just be there for one another not everyone is suppose to be available before the burial time. But with black the whole process is just a procedure of wow moments. Ladies from 21 years to 45 will be out there hiring and buying black dresses with heels for that funeral. You cannot wear cheap in our funeral. A funeral is like durban july, for black people you should be extremely swagging and slaying on funerals.

They is a line up of priests who will talk about the deceased, they will stumble and mummble until the crowd just laugh, problem is that, they never opens a bible, they just talk and sooner or later they end up saying what they shouldnt have said. I remember one priest who said " praise the lord hallelujah, the deceased here never deserves to go now its just that when your penis have such sores you will have no choice, he really struggled. He peed inside because his bladders burst. He had no choice. But to go" that was the most embarassing moments, looking at the family members they posed as if they taking a pic at the jurasik park.

Ok now we are waiting for the programme that will direct us who is in and who is not, thats also stir up some grudges. People will all be worked up asking questions like " i was also his/her friend why am i not in the programme" but time please. How can we let anyone speak? Everything is judged and critisized.let me not forget to mention the clash of believes, since we are burying a person who lived a while here, you find out that he/she associated with people from different churches and they all came to bury him/her. You will find groups of people singing different songs and competing to outshun one another. Ribs will hurts. Girls are selling themselves, they all puffed and zingled their cheeks with red guffies like musketees.

Do not forget, in a black person's funeral its also another black man's funeral spot. They is a plate of food made special for someone. It will be hand delivered by a cute beautiful women with a smile. After eating it, you will be buried the next weekend. Its all for fun.

Friday night is the most fascinating because satarday around 8 or 9 is the burial day. So in friday evening you will see the churches singing to welcome the hearse, they hymn and collapse into a sound that intensify to such an extent that, every member in the family will cry, they get out of the yard and meet hearse miles away from the home and comes back with it, they will sing in a calm voices to provoke emotions. For others, prayers and customs are undertaken as their way of grivance. In the morning the orbituary is given out and read by a lousy cousin together with flowers, she must just be crazy, and i am saying 'she' because a lot of black people's funeral appear's to be believing in females to reads out orbituaries.

After that we heard to the cemetery. The real drama starts. People rehearsed for their crying and now it is the time. I went to chris fox's sisters funeral, a white guy i knew. I was amazed, went there at 6 oclock by half six we was done. Everyone got in a car vooom off. Yes done and dusted that fast. I was like "huuuh"?

But with our funeral never, arrive at the cemetery at 7 oclock, in 8 oclock priest was still busy with his bible but he stood the whole night talking. People crying beating up and down. Sisters with water busy helping the ones who faints. Some denying the person is dead even after 5 days of gathering. That crazy aunty causing a scene everywhere, grabbing priest and asking them to tell her its a lie. Mess in everything..when you look at the children they are rolling on the floor. Sometimes i just go like " this people can rehearse yong".

The neighbors dont wait until the funeral is done, they gossip before the coffin is set down. " Iyoo but atleast the casket is better" pointing at people's dresses and saying they not better than theirs. And they is always that one woman who will be eating soil from the cemetery. And the other one sniffing ntsu. Looking around like they bought the cow for the entire crowd.

When its all done and dusted, the priest will then say quiet people, the family said that, you are all needed back in the house to wash your hands, this means that they are food ready back in the house. Everyone makes their way back to the deceased home. Pilling ladies will be standing alongside their pots serving. A final judgement is food, after that beers are bought and the after party (after tears) starts. You will see what we call "difebe". If the funeral is closer to their homes they'll go put on even lighter and small cloth that reveals a bit to win the men who are left behind. Scorns are still flying and refreshments are still available.

This will gives you vibe you will feel more like its a bash..it will be ongoing until 6 in the evening. The remaining meat from a cow now is "braaid".

Nelson Mandela promised the people of South Africa that when he comes out of the prison, the nationalisation of mines will be a doctrine core in implementing a fastest growing economy in our country. The freedom charter even states that

the banks and monopoly industries shall be

transferred to the ownership of the people as a

whole; all other industries and trade shall be

controlled to assist the well-being of the

people," the charter states.

South africa was a black people's country, they was no white men within this country until the arrival of Jan Van Riebeck in 6 april 1652. 

Jan van Riebeeck established a

refreshment station at the Cape of Good Hope, at

what would become Cape Town, the dutch continue spreading this country after Jan van Riebeck approached companies and started importing slaves from countries like india and indonesia, thats how the indians also came to South Africa, as he went to south west, He met the Xhosa people in white river.

Jan Van riebeck started taking their livestock and land, the fight started and a lot of black xhosa people was killed by colonists. 

In 1838 the colonists reached the zululand, after the numerous occasions where they felt mistreated and abused by white people, zulus attacked their camp, with the help of their zulu king shaka, they expanded their territory into mfecane.

The genuine leaders who fought for this nation are known as our grand forefathers, they wanted our land back to us, the righteous inheritant. But Mandela happened, he chose freedom over victory. White people are not even quater of the people in our country. We was suppose to righfully take back what is ours. Europeans are owning minerals, large companies and dominate the corporate industries in SA.

I have never seen such a taboo, white people are calling us flops, they sits in mansions and watch us in views celebrating the death of our grandfathers, we are weeping on the ground, lost and confused, our sisters and brothers have allerged to unethic morals in this society. Hunger, i am talking about a real poverty where the only key to surviving is having an alternative. And therefore, white people label us as thiefs.

I know that my government will call me anti black, they will resist this truth, locating your inner sense will help you gain access to common sense, it does not need you to be an amazing intelect to digest this ideology, but a use of sense will rectify your arogancy and let the right path before you. It is most saddening to see how we been sold out. The monopoly of ingovernance, leaders who uses authors ethics to address the parliament. Reading dictionaries to define freedom. I am an african, a true african. And therefore,i will not use a western book to define my true colors. 

I therefore stand here not satisfied, i still feel the pain of yesterday, it is not accomplished, the current president of South Africa Mr Jacob Zuma hasnt said a word about our resources, our land. The biggest bank that generates most revenue in South Africa the Reserve Bank is owned by white people. I am not being racist, i am a young South African who wants what best for this country. We should nationalize our resources. Control our products and benefit all our people.

This culture is very fascinating and dangerous, Customs and ways in a pedi tradition have rough consequenses after not being conformed and they often revolves around death.

Welcome to the culture of Bapedi people, one of the biggest names you can ever come across in this culture is Kgosi Sekhukhune. The man who fought for the lands and rights of Bapedi people. Similarlarly, if a pedi man has a child with a woman and that woman passes on without that man's knowledge, he will also have " makgoma" and if not cured the man will die.

Bapedi people teaches their children this customs and make sure they know them because they know their culture can be very dangerous. If two ladies get impregnated by same guy, and other lady shout the name of the other pregnant lady during the knight, if she replies, she will die, similar if she throw a piece of stone at the house and she hear that sound, she will die. Two pregnant ladies who got impregnated by same guy should not hear a sound they made themselves at night, because that will results in death.

Many people inlcuding Bapedi people who do not believe in culture where buried. This culture is deadly, if you do not conform yourself accordingly you die.
They is a mountain near warmbath just outside Mookgophong in Modimolle also called "Modimolle", which is 'God Ate Them' translated to english.  As Bapedi people we know the secrets of super powers. And thus make us respect our super heroes, our ancestors. The elders believes that, they are the dead people who watches upon them.

If a man have children with two ladies, and the other one is in labour, the other lady is prohibited to enter the house of the lady who is in labour because they shared same blood from same man. I have heard many times about violence that strikes upon this world, but I have never seen in my own eyes the brutal violence that leaves a stripe of marks and hollow pain inside the heart of a human for the entire existence like the violence between a husband and a wife, a torture to the mind, spirit, body and life. When a husband take verbal abuse to emotional and physical abuse, the home of that man turns into a house of devil.

Have you ever seen children who regards to their father as Lord, they see their father as someone who comes home and make rules, they regard him as a master, they are all scared of him. The only time they can exchange words with that man is when he makes rules, are you going to be a proud father? I have seen this happening, when a man takes a step in the corridor coming through to the sitting room, his children shut up and all vibrate in nerves and breathing like they read out their last note on this earth.

I have seen it, a woman who fails to control her emotions, her daughter will ask her mom, it is that time of the month, don't you have pennies spared so I can buy pads? And she burst into tears. A home where love does not exist. Rules took over and the man call himself a train, when the head turns, the tale follows, he will say this with stupid and empty pride, the ego of unsophisticated mind.

Do we need education to teach people how to behave and love their family, how are you going to interact with the world when you left your family in the dark, believe me I have heard many stories, but today I seen that this is a culture of many south african men, they think having a family is a power to control and punish the people they claim to love. What is love without happiness? Is that love indeed? I have seen it with my own eyes, as much as I hatred it. I have had scars from emotions that I couldn't figure its transition and occurrences.

Am I also like this? I have seen the worst, and then it is getting deep. A woman is strong, she is capable of fixing things, but not with this kind of man, he comes back 2 pm in the morning and demand sex. Beat up the poor woman and how come she never reported him for assaults, or even rape? What is wrong with this house? The ego of a man who is stupid drives him nuts. He is capable of telling his own children that they just want to eat his money. His blood!

I have seen it, and when it happens I have wished that they was an institution where we can rehabilitate this relationships, punish this kind of men and teach them a way of life.
